Now Accepting Submissions: Hallow’s Eve Horror, a Poor Yorick Special Publication

It’s been a long, hot summer, but we sense a chill in the air. What better way to celebrate the arrival of fall than with a sanguine sampling of literary chills and thrills? Show us your best flash fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or photo essays that will make our hearts pound and skin crawl–monsters, haunts, gothics, psychological thrillers, or murders most foul.

Please limit submissions to a maximum of 500 words. There is no reading fee for this special issue, and multiple submissions are welcome. Selected submissions will be published on the Poor Yorick website on Halloween, and authors will be invited to read at a special virtual open mic on Thursday, October 29.

Please submit all work via the Poor Yorick Submittable page.

SUBMISSIONS OPEN: July 31-August 31
